Let's do a speed dating event to support http://www.developingcommunities.org/. This wonderful organization helps developing communities in Central America. One of the projects this organization is currently working on is to bring solar electricity to a small town in Nicaragua. Hence the "Green" theme for this event.
If you are Green (and not a Martian) and would like to meet other environmentally friendly people, then this is the event for you.
Cost: $20 donation
We will limit this event to the first 40 people that submit payment.

At this event, you will get to meet 20 people of the opposite gender. Engage them in stimulating conversation for about 3 minutes and then circle yes/no on your pre-printed match form. Within 24 hours of the mixer, you will receive your mutual matches.
We will also have some basic appetizers (fruit, veggie, and cheese platters) and some other munchies. You can flush it down with a fantastic drink or two made by the awesome bartenders at the Hideout.
Question: Is my donation tax deductible?
Answer: It should be. We will have forms at the event that you can fill out (this is optional). We will submit the forms to Developing Communities with one big donation check.
Question: Should I sign up now or wait until 4 hours before the event starts?
You should sign up as soon as you know that you can make the event date.
Question: Do I need to join LA-Fun.com website in order to do the speed dating event?
Yes. We pre-print the match forms with your basic information on them. So we need your info electronically. If after the event, you no longer wish to be part of LA-Fun.com, you can easily unsubscribe from our email list and database.
Question: If I just show up on Sunday, can I pay at the door for the event?
Unfortunately, for this event we cannot accommodate walk-ins.
Question: How do I submit my donation?
We have a PayPal button on the LA-Fun website. Please make your payment using this special link. We will send you a reminder e-mail to make your donation.
Question: Will the entire $20 go to Developing Communities?
$19 will go to Developing Communities. $1 will go to PayPal for their transaction/credit card processing services.
