Group and LA-FUN.com?
Answer: They are two different formats, same fun group of people!
LA-FUN.com website is designed to organize large events where keeping track of people attending an event is important.
LA-FUN Yahoo! Group is for posting small events that usually are put together last minute.
Please note that LA-FUN Yahoo! Group is part of Yahoo!. The rules, regulations, and privacy policies of
Yahoo! Groups may be vastly different than LA-FUN.com.
You will want to belong to BOTH groups!

Answer: Go to the Contact US page and let us know what kind of event(s) you wish to host/post.
If we like what we see, then we will create a special login for you.

Answer: Unfortunately, they are two distinct systems. You will have to
sign up to each individually.

Answer: LA-FUN.com is NOT responsible for the actions of any of its
members or friends of its members or event coordinators or moderators of the
group or founders of the group or anyone else in this world. You attend any
event hosted by LA-FUN.com (and LA-FUN Yahoo! Group) AT YOUR OWN RISK. IF YOU
LIKE TO SUE PEOPLE, PLEASE FIND ANOTHER GROUP TO SUE. You are responsible for
determining whether an event is safe. You are responsible for your own actions.

Question: Do you sell my personal information to 3rd
parties on LA-FUN.com?
Answer: We do not have any plans to do this. If we ever decide to offer
our list for sale/lease (with personal information), we will ask for your permission first.
Your personal information is defined as First Name/Last Name, e-mail address,
home address, telephone number, birth date, and any other information
(or combination) that can uniquely identify you.

Question: Do you plan on spamming me?
Answer: We plan on sending to you reminders (via e-mail) for events that
you have signed up for. We may also send to you important information regarding
your account or maybe a monthly newsletter or an e-mail listing the events for
the week. We will go out of our way to never bombard you with excessive
e-mails. We may include a 3rd party advertisement in the e-mails that we send
to you.

Question: How do I unsubscribe from your e-mail list? I do
not want to receive any more e-mails from LA-FUN.com website.
Answer: Currently the only way to unsubscribe from our list is via our
Contact US webpage. We will implement other methods in the near future. Please
allow up to 3 business days for your request to be processed.

Question: I continue to receive e-mails from LA-FUN. Why
is this?
Answer: It is quite possible that the e-mails that you are receiving are
from the LA-FUN Yahoo! Group. Remember that the LA-FUN.com website and LA-FUN
Yahoo! Group are distinct entities. You will have to unsubscribe from the
LA-FUN Yahoo! Group e-mail list too. Unsubscribing from one does NOT
automatically unsubscribe you from the other.

additions/changes are significant, then we may notify you. But again, we are
not required to do so.
